I used to be Broken Inflatable and Off Cuts of Plastic Canopy - Overnight Holdall Bag

This unique holdall bag, is made mainly from off-cuts of broken inflatables and plastic canopies that were destined for waste. Both materials are notoriously difficult to recycle, making this bag an eco-conscious choice. Handmade with care in Cornwall, this piece is truly special—it features heart shapes and sparkle from a broken inflatable ball. There is even some soft pink flocking type material which was an airbed. Perfect for overnight stays, carrying sports equipment, or everyday use.

The bag has one main zip that wraps slightly around the side, two handles and three simple outer pockets. Due to the upcycled nature of the materials, the bag has an organic, slightly wonky shape, especially around the corners, adding to its character. The corners do not turn out crisp and sections may be wonky and irregular in shape  but this is the beauty of the product and is due to the nature of the material being difficult to work with especially when layered up. You may notice small signs of wear or markings, which only highlight its sustainable origins. Please see pictures for some of the markings on the inflatable items.

This holdall measures approximately 13 1/2 inches across, with a height roughly of 9 1/2 inches. The bag’s width varies between 5 and 6 inches and the main zip, which wraps around the sides slightly, is about 21 inches long. The handles measure 24 1/4 inches from the top of the bag. 

There are three pockets in total—two on the ends of the bag, one around 4" high and the other around 4 1/2" high and a central pocket located between the straps on the outside, which is about 4 1/4 inches wide and 6 inches high. Please note, this central pocket is not designed to carry much weight or anything too bulky as it may have weakened sides by the straps, although this has been reinforced.

As this item is handmade using reused and off-cut materials, some areas may show signs of wear or markings. The thick, durable materials make the corners irregular and the bag slightly wonky especially the base, nothing is ever quite square shaped, but that's part of its charm! While we reuse as much material as possible, zips and webbing straps may be new unless otherwise noted. This bag is not waterproof and is intended for use as a bag only.
