I used to be Offcuts of Canopy and a Broken Dinghy inflatable - Adult's Smaller Backpack
This smaller backpack is handmade in Cornwall from off-cuts of canopy material and a broken inflatable dinghy—both of which are difficult to recycle, making this an eco-conscious choice. The bag features a fold-down top secured with a plastic clip, along with a sturdy handle for easy carrying, and two adjustable backpack straps. Perfect for walks or day trips, it offers storage for your smaller essentials.
A unique detail is the webbing strap by the clip, which includes a punctured inner tube to keep the strap end secure. The bag also features stitched-on off-cut shapes and the original rope and components from the dinghy, with the rope attached at the side seams and left loose on the front, adding both functionality and flair.
When closed, the bag measures approximately 13 inches in height and 10 inches across, tapering to about 6 1/2 inches at the base. Fully unfolded, the bag stands at 18 inches high. Its tapered, boxy base design provides plenty of room for your small belongings while maintaining a compact and stylish appearance. The main adjustable backpack straps extend up to 34 1/2 inches, allowing you to customise the fit to your needs.
Please note, this bag has an organic, slightly wonky shape due to the nature of the materials used, which only adds to its charm. While the canopy material itself is very waterproof, the bag is not waterproof due to the stitching.
As with all Flotsam Flo items, the materials used are repurposed, and some may show signs of wear or markings, highlighting their sustainable origins. We try to reuse as many components as possible, though zips and webbing straps may be new unless otherwise noted.
**Important:** This item is not suitable for children. The materials used may also include PVC.
