I once was Off Cuts of Canopy and Inflatables - Adults Holdall Bag with Highland Cow - A little wonky!

This unique holdall bag, is made mostly from off-cuts of canopies that were otherwise destined for waste and some inflatable material. Handmade in Cornwall, this piece is truly special—it features a hand drawn Highland cow, buttercups and thistle designs one side of the bag, which I have then stitched and layered plastics. I have also stitched off cuts onto the bag making a lovely, colourful design.  Although this process was extremely time consuming it has so been worth it.  

Offcuts of canopy and inflatable material are really difficult to recycle. Perfect for overnight stays, carrying sports equipment, or everyday use. Please note, due to materials used this item like all Flotsam Flo items are wonky in shape making it even more unique (please see pictures). 

The bag has one main zip that wraps slightly around the side, with three simple outer pockets, 2 each end of the bag and one in the middle of the straps, this middle pocket only has a zip. The bag has an organic, slightly wonky shape and wrinkles, especially around the corners, due to the material used and adding to its character.

This holdall measures approximately 14 1/4 inches across, with a height roughly of 10 inches. The bag’s width varies between 4 3/4 - 5 1/2 inches approximately, and the main zip, which wraps around the sides slightly, is about 22 inches long. The handles measure 19 inches approximately from the top of the bag. 

There are 3 simple outer pockets in total —a central pocket located between the straps one side is about 5" wide at the top and 6 inches wide at the base and is 6 inches high approx - only this pocket has a zip. The other two pockets, one on each end of the outside of the bag measure roughly  5 1/2” across  x 5 1/2" high and the other is x 5 1/2" across x 5" high. All measurements are approximate. 

Please note, this central pocket is not designed to carry much weight or anything too bulky as it may have weakened sides by the straps, although this has been reinforced. Embrace the imperfections— Flotsam Flo items are handmade and often, one-of-a-kind including wrinkles and a wonky shape.

Each piece is crafted with multiple layers of stitched inflatables and plastic based materials, creating unique design. While the materials are resilient, we recommend handling your item with care to preserve its shape and quality as the designs have been stitched on individually.

As this item is handmade using reused and off-cut materials, some areas may show signs of wear or markings including some biro lines which would have been used on these off cuts originally. The thick, durable materials make the corners irregular and the bag slightly wonky especially the base, nothing is ever quite square shaped, but that's part of its charm! While we reuse as much material as possible, zips and webbing straps may be new unless otherwise noted - the zips and straps on this item are both new components. This bag is not waterproof and is intended for use as a bag only. All measurements are approximate.
