Workshop Waiver & Terms of Agreement

By booking a spot for any of our workshops, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Assumption of Risk
    You acknowledge that participation in the workshop involves activities that may carry inherent risks. You understand and accept these risks, including any potential injuries, and agree to hold Flotsam Flo harmless from any liability.

  2. Personal Responsibility
    You confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and able to participate in the workshop. You will inform the workshop organiser of any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements prior to attending.

  3. Non-Transferability
    Your workshop booking is personal and non-transferable. You cannot assign or transfer your registration to another person.

  4. No Refund Policy
    Once your booking is confirmed, all fees are non-refundable, except in the case of workshop cancellation by Flotsam Flo. In such a case, you will receive a full refund.
    Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase unless the service (workshop) is provided within that time frame. Once the service has been provided, no refunds are available.

  5. Photographic and Video Release
    By attending the workshop, you consent to photographs or video footage being taken during the session. These materials may be used by Flotsam Flo for marketing purposes unless you explicitly notify us in writing that you do not consent.

  6. Liability Waiver
    By booking this workshop, you waive any claims against Flotsam Flo, its instructors, or affiliates for personal injury, property damage, or loss of any kind during or after the workshop.

  7. Conduct and Behaviour
    You agree to behave respectfully and in accordance with the guidelines set by Flotsam Flo during the workshop. Any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without a refund.

  8. Modification and Cancellation of Workshop
    Flotsam Flo reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel workshops due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will be notified promptly, and options will be provided (including rescheduling or full refunds).

By booking your spot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a workshop you have booked:

We make an effort to reasonably price our workshops and provide excellent value. Therefore, we have a no-refund policy to guarantee that we can cover our expenses and the workshops can continue to thrive.

We understand that occasionally, unforeseen events may prevent you from attending a workshop. If this happens, one option we are pleased to offer is for you to send a friend or similar in your place. We will just require their name and contact information before the workshop.

If you contact us at least 14 days before the session's start date and there are still spaces available or a workshop is scheduled, we may be able to offer you a transfer to the same workshop at a later date. If there are no available future dates, we can offer a voucher that can be used to book a workshop at a later time.

In the unlikely event that we must postpone a session due to unforeseen circumstances, we will try to notify you as soon as possible. Sadly, we are unable to assume any responsibility for travel or other expenses.
