I used to be a Life Jackets and other material offcuts - Adult’s Tote Bag

Here is a handmade hand bag, made mostly from life jackets and other material offcuts,  both of these materials are very difficult to recycle.

This bag features offcuts which have been stitched onto the material, making it a little bit of a special item. The main base material of the bag is the offcuts of material (yellow material) and the sections of Life Jacket have been used as off cuts to stitch onto the bag. There is even the original toggle from the Life Jacket and the webbing straps are even repurposed! Due to the nature of the material there may be some slight wrinkles in the material.

This item has been handmade in Cornwall. 

The bag measures 12 1/2” wide by 13 1/2” high. The webbing straps (which have also come from the lifejackets) measures, from the top of the bag, 20” long approx.

Due to the thickness of the material, the corners do not turn out 100% crisp. Please note, as this item is hand made with upcycled materials, not everything is precise and there may be markings as this is a recycled fabric but this is the beauty of the product. All measurements are as accurate as I can get them but approximate. Inflatable material does sometime wear with use. We try and upcycle as much material as we can, but other components used on these items such as zips and webbing straps are not always repurposed, but they are where ever I can get them, unless stated these are new items. May contain PVC. Item for adults only, not suitable for children.
