This waist bag is made from a broken wetsuit. Wetsuits are very hard to recycle if at all, they can take up to 100 years to biodegrade and often end up in landfill or incineration.
The bum bag, made from a broken wetsuit that was going to landfill. The keeper of the strap is made from a punctured inner tube. The waist bag has a zip that measures 7 1/2” long and this is also the length of the bum bag. The height of the waist bag is 5 1/4” approx. The strap is adjustable and can neatly be tucked in with the innertube keeper on the webbing strap. The webbing strap that fits around the waist goes up to 34” making the total circumference of the bumbag 41” when the strap is at its longest. Made in Cornwall. Due to this material being upcycled from a broken wetsuit there may be some markings or signs of wear. All wetsuits are washed before I use them but I don't like using harsh chemicals. but these marks are the beauty of using upcycled materials.
Please note, as this item is hand made with recycled materials, not everything is precise but this is the beauty of the product. All measurements are as accurate as I can get them but approximate. We try and upcycle as much material as we can, but other components used on these items such as zips and webbing straps are not always repurposed, but they are where ever I can get them.
